Our first step begins before our fellows set foot in a classroom. To give them a clear picture of where they stand and where their opportunities lie, we administer four self-assessment tests.

Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i)
Assesses emotional intelligence, a key indicator of earnings potential. Most importantly, it is a skill that can be improved through dedicated effort.

Strengths Finder
A classic assessment that helps provide a meaningful answer to the age old interview question, “What are your strengths?” Also helps identify optimal culture fit.

CareerLeader®
A popular tool employed by other elite institutions (Harvard Business School, Wharton). This assessment helps identify potential industries and industry functions to target.

Self-Report Inventory
Based on the notion of “operational readiness” within the SOF community. We use it to test “transitional readiness,” an area many fellows initially score low in. This assessment often crystallizes the work an individual needs to complete to be ready when they exit the program, and the military.
